The port is in
And I'm sore. Not horrendous pain. Just sore. They didn't give me nearly the versed that they gave me when they put in my G-tube. I remember the whole thing. I think. I might have fallen asleep for a few minutes. I was covered with a sterile drape, so I don't know for sure.
But it's in, and it's ready to use. When I was uncovered in the OR, they had a large screen with an x-ray shot of where my port is, along with the cath line going to my heart. I asked if they could print that for me, and they did. So I was able to show the kids. They think it's pretty cool.
That's it for today. Just wanted you to know that the procedure went fine, and I'm glad it's over with.

glad it went well Evie ((hugs))
Glad it went well, and it will take all that fear of whether or not they'll be able to get an IV in for chemo. ((hugs))
I'm so glad everything went well for you! Too bad you didn't get as much Versed. You probably weren't very entertaining for your mom.
And I'll be thinking of you and Paul tonight when he graduates!!!
